Reviewing and evaluating horizontal and vertical transfer applications in
accordance with the BAÜN Associate Degree and Bachelor's Degree Programs
Horizontal Transfer and BAÜN Vertical Transfer Bachelor's Degree Education
Implementation Guidelines, -
Reviewing and evaluating dual major and minor applications in accordance with
the BAÜN Dual Major Program and
BAÜN Minor Program Guidelines, -
Reviewing courses previously taken and successfully completed by students
applying for credit transfer and/or enrolling through horizontal and vertical
transfer, matching the relevant courses with the course plans available at
our faculty, and carrying out course credit transfer procedures in accordance
with the BAÜN Exemption and Credit Transfer Procedures Guidelines, - Submission of evaluation result
reports to the Dean of the Faculty of Tourism, - This committee meets within the
timeframe specified in the relevant calendars during the Horizontal-Vertical
Transfer, Double Major-Minor, and Transfer application periods. |

Carrying out tasks and procedures related to the Internship Program within
the scope of the BAÜN Tourism Faculty Student Internship Guidelines - Organizing internship procedures for
students enrolled in the department -
Preparing printed documents for intern students and ensuring that the
documents are ready on time -
Reviewing and evaluating pre-internship acceptance documents - Meeting to evaluate students'
internship work, reviewing the files, and submitting the results to the
Faculty Dean's Office -
Evaluating and reporting on the student's request for exemption based on
their work experience in the tourism sector or a previous internship in the
tourism sector -
Organizing interviews and practical assessments related to the internship
when deemed necessary - Perform other tasks and procedures
related to the internship. |

Reviewing the status and transcripts of students who have reached the
graduation stage under the BAÜN Associate Degree and Bachelor's Degree
Education, Teaching, and Examination Regulations via OBS, - Checking that the student's AGNO is
at least 2.00 and that the grade for each course taken is at least DD or YT, -
Reviewing whether the student has taken all courses included in the
curriculum applicable to them, -
Reviewing whether the student has completed the credits and ECTS required for
graduation, - Reviewing the status of students who meet
the graduation requirements by a graduation committee consisting of at least
three faculty members chaired by the department chair and submitting it to
the relevant administrative board within ten working days, - Carrying out tasks and procedures
related to the organization of the graduation ceremony, |

Information System (OBS), -
Ensuring that the Information Package/Course Catalog entered into the OBS by
the Bologna Course Coordinators is in line with the definitions in the
Bologna process and updating it when necessary. -
Ensure the implementation of planning, execution, evaluation, and improvement
activities at the unit level within the scope of the quality assurance
system. |

Organizing the necessary work for the preparation of the Department's
Internal and Self-Evaluation Reports - Providing the necessary support for
the work of the Accreditation Commission -
Ensuring that the decisions of the department quality commission are
communicated to the relevant departments/programs, that their implementation
is monitored, and that their results are tracked - Carrying out the necessary
activities in the quality processes related to the main topics of the quality
work and publishing and monitoring them on the department website. |

- Carrying out tasks and procedures in
accordance with the Balıkesir University Quality Assurance, Quality
Commission, and Quality Coordination Guidelines, -
Monitoring the registration period of national accreditation organizations
authorized by YÖKAK and conducting preliminary work on the documents to be
requested during the application and evaluation process. -
Matching Balıkesir University programs with accreditation organizations and
preparing preliminary reports on the suitability of the programs. - Conducting activities to raise
awareness among academic and administrative staff as well as students
regarding program accreditation. -
Monitoring the decisions taken by the Higher Education Quality Council
regarding program accreditation and current developments; carrying out
planning activities for program accreditation by academic units in line with
the principles determined by the Quality Coordination Unit. -
Providing guidance on the implementation of program accreditation processes
and facilitating the sharing of experiences. -
Organizing training programs related to program accreditation processes. -
Creating a roadmap for the accreditation of non-accredited programs and
monitoring the processes. - Performing other duties assigned by
the Rector, Dean, and Quality Coordinator. |

Ensuring that Farabi Exchange Program announcements are made at the
faculty/department level and in a timely manner, -
Receiving applications from students and faculty members for the Farabi
Exchange Program and verifying the required documents, - Monitoring the processes of Farabi
students coming to and going from the faculty/department, - Collaborating with relevant academic
units to determine the equivalence of courses to be taken by students, - Guiding students who are applying or
have been accepted to the program through the process, -
Assisting students in preparing their study protocols, - Carrying out the process of matching
the courses to be taken by students participating in the Farabi exchange
program with the courses at the faculty/department, -
Sharing students' performance status with the faculty/department
administration, -
Tracking the application processes of faculty members coming or going under
Farabi at the faculty/department level, -
Organizing documents related to students and submitting them to the higher
authority (Institutional Coordination Office), -
Ensuring that Farabi Exchange Program processes at the faculty/department are
carried out in coordination with the Institutional Coordinator. |

within the scope of the Balıkesir University International Relations Research
and Application Center Regulations, -
Ensuring that Erasmus processes at the faculty/department are carried out in
coordination with the Institutional Coordinator, -
Contacting institutions with which bilateral agreements have been made under
the Erasmus program and preparing the necessary documents. -
Receiving applications from incoming and outgoing students under the Erasmus
student mobility program, checking their documents, and following up on the
process. -
Supporting incoming and outgoing students in their course selection, carrying
out add/drop procedures, and assisting in the preparation of learning
agreements, - Monitoring the necessary academic
procedures when students change courses during the mobility process, -
Guiding students participating in internship mobility, assisting them in
finding internship placements, and supporting the academic process, -
Monitoring students' academic progress during their Erasmus mobility and
communicating with relevant units to resolve any potential issues, -
Sharing the success status of students who have completed the mobility
process with the faculty/department management and carrying out the necessary
recognition procedures, -
Tracking the mobility processes of incoming and outgoing
academic/administrative staff within the Erasmus program at the
faculty/department level, -
Preparing teaching/training programs for incoming academic and administrative
staff and supporting the process. - Organizing all documents related to
Erasmus processes and submitting them to the Institutional Coordination
Office. |

Exchange Program and verifying the required documents. -
Monitoring the processes of incoming and outgoing Mevlana students at the
faculty/department. - Collaborating with relevant academic
units to determine the equivalence of courses to be taken by students. - Providing guidance to students who
are applying or have been accepted to the program about the process. -
Assisting in the preparation of students' study protocols. - Carrying
out the process of matching the courses to be taken by students participating
in the Mevlana Exchange Program with the courses at the faculty/department. -
Sharing students' performance status with the faculty/department
administration. - Tracking
the application processes of faculty members coming or going under Mevlana at
the faculty/department level. -
