Seminar on Theme Park Activities and Career Opportunities in Theme Parks Held

   Operating in Antalya and recognized as one of the largest entertainment and activity destinations in both Europe and Türkiye, The Land of Legends—an integrated tourism complex comprising a theme park, shopping centers, and hotels—hosted an online seminar titled “Theme Park Activities and Career Opportunities in Theme Parks” for the students of our department. The seminar was delivered by Mr. Gürkan GÖĞEBAKAN, Recruitment Manager of The Land of Legends, on 25 February 2026 at our Faculty Conference Hall.

    Organized by the Head of our Department, the event was designed to contribute to students’ professional knowledge in their field of study, to familiarize them with recent developments and dynamics within the entertainment sector, and to raise awareness about career opportunities in this area. The seminar was attended by 43 students from our department as well as our academic staff.

    During the seminar, theme park activities, visitor profiles in theme parks, emerging trends in the entertainment industry, and future-oriented developments were discussed in detail. Entertainment and theme park operations at The Land of Legends were explained through concrete examples. In addition, students were comprehensively informed about internship opportunities, post-graduation employment prospects within this segment of the tourism sector, career pathways, and the qualifications sought in the entertainment and theme park industry. The seminar concluded with an interactive question-and-answer session.

    This event made a significant contribution to strengthening collaboration between our department and the industry, while also supporting the professional development of our students.
