Students of the Department of Recreation Management, accompanied by Associate Professor S. Banu Yıldız, visited Çamlık BALMEK to gain firsthand insight into the vocational training courses offered by the Balıkesir Metropolitan Municipality Vocational Training Centers (BALMEK).
During the visit, students explored the workshops on marbling art, tile-making, and card weaving, which are among the traditional Turkish handicrafts requiring intensive manual craftsmanship. Detailed information about these workshops was provided by the course instructors. Students also had the opportunity to observe workshops in fine arts, music, jewellery design, macramé, epoxy, and woodworking.
We would like to extend our sincere thanks to the Çamlık BALMEK Course Center for its warm hospitality.
